WSO Sponsorship

The Student Outreach Program is an immensely popular program that provides fifty concert tickets (per sponsorship) to middle school students and their chaperones. The sponsorship covers the cost of the tickets, the transportation, a reception, and a talk by a WSO musician. Students travel by bus to the Genetti Hotel, where they are greeted with an ice cream reception and then meet a member of the WSO, who talks to them about the concert program, and concert and theatre etiquette. Just before the concert starts, the school and its sponsor are introduced from the stage. The Student Outreach Program has a waiting list of area schools who wish to participate.
